Ginger is the Office Manager for Fidus.
She has worked in the construction industry since 2001, and has worked in accounting, payroll and HR for over 30 years. She even worked for the United States Ambassador to Portugal for over 20 years! Ginger is happily married and has 2 grown boys. Ginger loves to read and is passionate about all animals especially horses, having been a game horse rider for over 20 years. She has traveled all over the world visiting Germany, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Bahamas, and Mexico.
Kevin Gregory has worked for The Fidus Group since early 2012.
He has been in the roofing and construction industry since 2005. Kevin has served our country well, previously retiring from the US Navy after 23 years. He and his wife Lynne have 4 kids and 2 grandkids.
Slate Creek is another Project Manager for The Fidus Group.
He joined the team in early 2013 and has been in the industry since 2002. Slate has received the American Management Award and is IICRC Certified. Slate shares that the best thing about work for Fidus is his coworkers. He claims to be a great cook, but the jury is still out on that.
Jason Reisdorf is the Hardscape and Enclosure Division Manager for The Fidus Group and has been since early 2013.
He has been in the industry since 2002, having successfully passed the General Contractor Exam for Florida in 2008. Jason says the best thing about working for Fidus is the integrity, honesty, and quality. When asked if there was anything else that people may find interesting about him he said “I am a diverse fellow with eclectic tastes in music, food and fun. Life is too short not to learn, love and laugh. I love animals, outdoors, off-roading, soccer, and flowers (yeah, so what)”.
Tammy Smith is the Administrative Assistant for The Fidus Group.
Tammy has worked with Fidus since early 2012. But she has been in the construction and roofing business for over 25 years. Tammy is OSHA Certified #700354347. She has served as Operations Manager for a large construction company for over 13 years, specialized in MSDS and specification sheets for acoustical products. When asked about the best thing about working for Fidus Tammy said “We all work together as a team and treat each other as family.”
Craig joined the Fidus Group in early 2016 with a passion to deliver excellent customer service to property owners.
Craig has an outstanding and long history of serving our community through a 22-year career in the non-profit sector. Through his years working in the community, Craig has learned that relationships are built on honesty and understanding the client’s needs. When educating customers on a new roof, Craig’s goal is to guide them in making the best possible decision in investing in a new roof with the Fidus Group. He and his wife have been married for 22 years and have 3 wonderful children. They reside in St. Augustine. Past and present community involvement include: YMCA of Florida’s First Coast Director, Anastasia Baptist Church member, St. Augustine High School Lacrosse Board 2012-15, and a founding member of the First Coast Kids Triathlon. Craig values his family and enjoys any time spent with them.
Carlos Lopez has been with Fidus since January 2016, where he works as the Safety Manager.
Safety is his expertise, and he’s completed 40 hours of construction industry OSHA training. He was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. While living in Cuba, he studied industrial mechanics for 4 years, and completed his schooling with a technical degree. Carlos came to the United States four years ago, and in that short time he has enrolled in college and become bilingual. He loves to read, cook, and play sports. He will be marrying the love of his life in April 2016. Interesting fact: Carlos says that although he is Cuban, he does not know how to dance salsa.
Christopher has over 16 years of roofing experience in both commercial and residential roofing.
He began working as a repair technician in 2001. Due to his outstanding customer service skills, he was then promoted to crew leader. Christopher joined Fidus in 2015 as service department manager to continue to grow the department through sales and excellent service. Is his spare time, Christopher likes anything artistic and sports related.
John Alters aka "Handsome John" has worked for The Fidus Group since 2014.
He's the young guy on the team, having a lot to learn, but having a great team to learn from. Working in the Construction Division, his favorite part of work is creating relationships with customers and watching their homes transform into beautiful spaces. He's married to his wife, Carrie and says that without her, life just wouldn't be as awesome.
Pauline is the Sales Coordinator for Fidus and recently joined the team in January 2016.
Although her background and specialty lies in Culinary Arts, Fine Arts & Photography for the past 20 years, she has a diverse aptitude ranging in customer service, sales and administrative services. As a military spouse, she has worked under the Commanding Officer of a Naval Base as their Command Ombudsman and was the Travel Photographer & Journalist for the Rota Coastline Newspaper in Spain. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, she is a foodie at heart with a passion for traveling the world and has been to at least 30 countries – her favorites being Ireland, Bali, Egypt, Belgium, Malaysia & Norway.
Owner James Suplee has over ten years of management experience in the construction industry.
He launched The Fidus Group as a general contracting firm in 2005 with one philosophy in mind: “to consistently provide customized service and uncompromising quality to every construction project we take on.” The Fidus Group prides itself on our promise to grow long-term relationships based on respect, integrity, dedication and an unwavering work ethic, with our clients, employees, subcontractors and vendors and with the community. “We will implement the highest standards of excellence in design, building and project management through our commitment to quality and professionalism”, says James.
